RubitPay is committed to operating a safe, legal, and ethical payment platform. The sale of the following goods and services is strictly prohibited on our platform. Merchants found processing payments for prohibited items will have their accounts suspended immediately.
1. Physical Goods
- Artefacts, culturally valuable art, and historical objects subject to export restrictions
- Used or second-hand cosmetics
- Counterfeit currency, coins, and stamps
- Poisons, drugs, drug paraphernalia, narcotic or drug-like substances, and descriptions of formulas for such substances
- Herbs, noxious weeds, and prohibited seeds
- Tobacco products and related accessories where prohibited by local law
- Medical products, prescription drugs, pills, medications and their components — except for lawfully sold dietary supplements
- Electronic devices deemed unlawful in the consumer's country of residence, including cable TV descramblers, radar scanners, surveillance equipment, wiretapping devices, and telephone bugging devices
- Modchips, game emulators, boot disks, and devices used to bypass copyright protection in game consoles
- Firearms, weapons, guns, knives, pepper spray, replicas, and stun guns — except for lawful sports equipment such as archery gear
- Government documents, official IDs, licenses, uniforms, and police or law enforcement items
- Dangerous, perishable or restricted items including explosives, radioactive materials, toxic substances, batteries containing hazardous materials, and refrigerants such as Freon
- Goods or services contrary to public interest, principles of humanity, ethics, and morality, including human organs and remains
- Locksmithing and lock bypass devices
- Stolen property or property with removed serial numbers
- Counterfeit or infringing goods, designer replicas, and counterfeit medicines
- Goods with no legitimate use value, including expired items
- Timeshares marketed through deceptive practices
- Slot machines, including analogues and spare parts
- Museum objects and museum collections exported without authorisation
- Precious metals and gemstones in raw nugget form without appropriate documentation
- Pesticides classified as highly hazardous under applicable regulations
- Counterfeit medical and dental devices not approved by regulatory authorities
- Waste generated in the process of chemical weapons destruction
2. Digital Content and Services
- Illegal or pirated audio and video recordings; activities that infringe copyright (e.g. music, video, software)
- File storage services (cyberlockers) that facilitate sharing of infringing content
- Bulk or unsolicited mailing lists containing personal data
- Offensive material promoting or glorifying hatred, violence, racial or religious intolerance, or national and religious discord
- Child sexual abuse material, sexually suggestive content involving minors, escort or prostitution services, and other adult content prohibited by applicable law
- Content containing violence, gore, or perversions
- Items encouraging illegal activity or linking to content promoting illegal activity
3. Financial Instruments and Services
- Financial or payment instruments that do not ensure proper KYC procedures and customer identification, including shell banks and shell companies
- Investment pyramid schemes and fraudulent fundraising activities
- Acquisition, exchange, and sale of cryptocurrency and other virtual currencies without the necessary licences or regulatory permissions
- Unlicensed foreign currency exchange services (except legitimate transactions by authorised financial organisations)
- Auction or trading systems that do not involve actual transfer of goods or services, where participants must pay regardless of outcome
- Services involving fraud or deception, including: network marketing pyramids, dubious weight loss techniques, psychic predictions, exorcism services, and activities imitating governmental services or using celebrity endorsements without consent
- Activities that may mislead or deceive buyers, including providing short free trial periods with no genuine opt-out mechanism, or unlawful sharing of personal data with third parties
4. Other Prohibited Activities
- Any goods or services that violate applicable laws and regulations in the merchant's jurisdiction or the payer's jurisdiction
- Any activity that violates the rules and regulations of card networks, local payment providers, or RubitPay's acquiring partners
- Any goods or services not permitted under RubitPay's merchant agreement
5. Reporting
If you encounter or suspect any transactions involving prohibited goods or services on our platform, please report this immediately to sales@rubitpay.com. RubitPay takes all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
RubitPay reserves the right to update this list at any time without prior notice, in response to changes in law, regulation, or business requirements.
